R5’s New Addictions Tour is Legend, wait for it…Dary

R5 stepped out for their New Addictions tour to play some of their newest music from their New Addictions EP and it was LEGEND wait for it…DARY. I think this show might of been one my favorite R5 concerts to date. This time round they played in a more intimate venue and even though there were less people there was some of the craziest energy I’ve seen. The crowd was hype and amazing and so were R5.

Here are some of my favorite moments from the show:

There are many times you got out to a show and the opening acts may not be your style. Hailey Knox and Alexander Jean (Mark Ballas and his wife) were really talented and kept the crowd entertained. Hailey had an incredible voice and I really enjoyed her set. At one point she took time to create a song about someone and their favorite food, this show its was “angie likes pizza” ๐Ÿ˜‚.  Alexander Jean was also really good, at first Mark had to do it as a one man show because his wife was on vocal rest but she surprised everyone by coming out to do their last song. Mark also took a moment to play a song on guitar inspired by his families flamenco routes and it was really awesome.

I was so excited to see the new songs live. One of my all time favorites is Red Velvet and it was epic live!

Ross also showed off his iconic tap dancing skills at the end of the song as well!

Rocky Appreciation time: Rocky performed his song Lay Your Head Down and it was even more amazing live!

At one point in the show it’s just Ross and his guitar. He did three acoustic songs Purple Rain, Waiting on the World and Repeating Days. It was so beautiful. After Repeating Days Ross shared he’d had a flash back to when he first recorded his part at the end of the song “and it’s crazy to think about that memory in your head, and i remember it so vividly, of doing it then that audio file goes out to all of you and now you’re back here singing it to my face…i think i’m gonna cry”

I just realized these are the only pictures I’ve got of Riker this show, 1st pic Willy Wonka is shook lol he loves those glasses. But for real Riker always brings mad energy to the crowd!

They also gave us a sneak peek of their new song they just recorded the other day in Boston and it was amazing!

They also played If which was mega hype!

Although I didn’t have the greatest view of these guys during the show they killed it! Rydel and Ellington are so talented and yes they are the cutest couple around! ๐Ÿ˜

Also where is a Rydellington Duet? Because I’m in serious need of one asap.

One thing I love at concerts is when the whole audience sings along, this show had a lot of those moments but here’s one of my favorites from Forget About You.

They played some other classics like Feel Good, Easy Love and Heart Made Up On You, all of my favorite songs to go crazy to!

When they came back out for the encore they did Did You Have Your Fun and it was A M A Z I N G!

Overall this show was PHENOMENAL!! R5 are incredibly talented together and individually and they know how to put on a freakin show! In the words of Ross (when he spoke about the new song they previewed) This show was “lit as fuck” ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ. I cannot wait to hear the new music and another amazing tour!
